There can only be 21,000,00 Bitcoin which is deflationary. It is a good alternative to fiat currency such a the US dollar which is inflationary because of quantitative easing by the Federal Open Market Committee (U.S Central Bank). Bitcoin is the people's money because it can never be used by any entity, government of otherwise, as an economic weapon.
