    1. Russia's industry will grind to a halt before gas and oil becomes an issue.

Very little is produced in Russia, most of the airliners in Russia are Airbus or Boeing, without spares most of those aircraft become grounded and the movement of freight slows down.

Everything now depends on electrical components, again, sanctions will be causes machinery to stand idle.

Most cars in Russia are European or Japanese, again, without parts, things quickly break down.

Just like in WWII when bombing ball bearing factories became top priority, it is the smallest of things that defeat a nation.

    2. Russia had better hope China & India play ball or they are really toast. Putin's war will have generational consequences for them

    3. Turn the gas back on ( and that includes Gasprom 2) and move on with life.
What is the point in all this madness? And donā€™t say itā€™s about Ukraine. I donā€™t believe anyone really cares about that corrupt stump of a pretend country. Whatā€™s the real reason for this madness?

    4. The next "expert" who is telling what "Russia" wants. This is the delusional wishful thinking that brought up the crisis. "In a long run" the war will end sooner than it will take to shift markets and Europe will start buying gas and oil from Russia again. Westerners (Germany) who are used to make living from lying and stealing from other countries are very concerned when their "milk cow" is in danger to be lost. Politicians are shameless enough to switch face over night and everything will be forgotten like the COVID was when the next "crisis" hits.

    5. Russia is producing many commodities. What "deep trouble"! To have the good and no one to buy it? It is like eating less food. You can eat less only as much, then you are dead, not the food producer.

    6. Wishful and shortsighted thinking. Fossil fuels are a weapon of convenience for Russia, nothing else. Given the West's pathologic inability to develop (let alone follow through on) even a medium-term strategy of any kind in any area, I am afraid we're fooling ourselves thinking that simply depriving Russia of gas and oil revenue will somehow magically lead to an economic collapse. The US in particular is notorious for trying to apply simplistic solutions to complex problems. Those solutions invariably fail, so why would they work this time?

    7. Good luck with the wind and solar this winteršŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø. I must admit I fell for the ā€˜greenā€™ scam for a few years, but like everything pushed by globalist science, it is the antithesis of green energy when you get right down to the nuts and bolts. Letā€™s not forget that the US State Department backed government in Ukraine ( if you havenā€™t worked it out already who are calling the shots) that the west is simping over, has been shelling the Russian speaking people of the Donbas who would actually like to separate from the country that wants to ethnically cleanse them) for the last 8 years, has banned all opposition parties and censored any opposition media, even encouraging death notices on anyone of influence that doesnā€™t agree with them and has broken every treaty signed to bring peace to the area.
I fully expect that the Russians have been preparing for these sanctions for years, I wonder how much Russian gas will end up being rebadged and sold at a nice profit by the Indians, who seem to be buying all they can. Donā€™t worry though, your government high ups wonā€™t suffer, it will be the Euro peon peasants who will be cold and ā€˜eating zee bugsā€™, with no work to go to as the economy contracts and all the agricultural land rewilded for nature not food. If the people in the west havenā€™t realised yet that they are being sold a dud, I really donā€™t know quite what to say, just take a look around you at the decline of agriculture and industry, the incessant drive to degenerate our entire way of life. By the time you wake up, the metaphorical gates will be shut and ā€˜you will own nothing and be happy!ā€™

    8. ā€œLeaders are scrambling aroundā€, first they are not leaders, second Russia has the oil & gas, so those who need it will find a way to get it. The US shafted the EU by convincing them to use these useless destructive sanctions. The ā€˜greensā€™ have also destroyed Germanyā€™s industrial baseā€¦you can not run a modern society on solar and wind alone!

    9. All devil's demonic masonic plans lies deeds witchcraft curses rules orders rituals spells deceptions manipulations desires narratives illusions propaganda brainwash mind control any control powers attacks weapons tricks be rebuked failed stopped punished demolished canceled destroyed removed everywhere always in the name of Jesus Christ!

    10. At the moment, Russians arenā€™t suffering at all. They are vacationing in Europe, Turkey and Asia. Finland, amazingly, is still offering Russians visas that the Russians are using to vacation in Europe.

    11. Germany needs the fuel more than Russia needs the increasingly woth-less Euro. Let Germany get desperate, very desperate. Germany goes begging for energy supply.

    12. Russia will be far stronger in two years and the west will be far weaker. Europeans will pay a heavy heavy toll for energy by being a subservient vassal states of America. Thatā€™s without taking into account the cost of food and other natural resources.
I think itā€™s hilarious and and willing to bet it brings civil unrest to much of Europe for the stupidity displayed by the weak leaders.

    13. That presumes western Europe has the discipline and foresight to find other energy sources. I see no evidence of that being successful. Energy is why this war began. European govts are losing their people not because of Russia, but because their hurting their people. His predictions are not going to come true.

    14. China and India have a combined population of 2.85 billion versus European Union's 448 million. China and India account for 37% of the world's inhabitants. What makes this commentator so confident that Russia must go back to Europe with a begging bowl?! All the growth is coming from China and India.

    15. Russia can sustain Gas Cuts indefinitely. There is nothing to compel Russia to provide Natural Gas. Europe will soon be free of Natural Gas and Electric Power except for Wind and Solar.

    16. Wind Farms aren't sustainable, nuclear is what is sustainable and the ONLY way Europe weans itself off from Russian gas, coal, and oil. Wind Farms are why Germany needs Russian gas.

    17. Indians have betrayed the free world supporting Russia and pushing their BS narrative just because sadly gives them military tech and ukraine supported Pakistan….SMH.

    18. In my opinion this entire war is a desperate attempt of Russia to remain a world power.

Its economy can't compete with the EU, US, China, India, … and with most countries slowly moving away from fossil fuels (and their limited nature) Russia needs the Ukrainian grain to stay relevant and economical strong.

Without some power moves Russia would be mid tier nation with nuclear weapons in 2050.
