She lost me at "were encouraging companies to come in and talk to us so we can help them." We all see how the SEC has been using that against companies that have tried that approach. Seems like Ginsler's negative bias towards Crypto is rubbing off on Hester. Pretty disappointing to hear that from her.

Hilariously, Hester said that the SEC was in place to protect the American people against bad actors. Talk about the wolf guarding the hen house.
Hester was incredibly intellectually disingenuous when she talked about her whistleblower alert program. There are many people that have called for an investigation into Ethgate for example. Also there are scores of projects that are blatant scams where the SEC needn’t rely on whistleblowers to take action. Hester was very disappointing. Thank you Tony.

Shes a paid public servant there should be no question she shouldn't be forced to answer. how else is the regular everyday investor that don't have private meetings with Gary supposed to get the info we need.
The Defi and lending programs are based off of Banks not wanting "us" the retail to make more money than the banks. Look at credit cards. The percentage that banks make 14.99-29.99% "passive income" off of our debt. They see us going to these defi/lending programs and we take away from the banks. That is why Celsius gets punish offering the retail investors money. That is why this is bullshit what SEC is doing.
I don’t comment on that, I can’t talk about anything around, I shouldn’t comment on, I really can’t talk about that conversation….why the hell do an interview!?? She screams bureaucrat lifer to me….and therefore is worthless! I miss the days when these bureaucrats actually cared more about those they serve than those they serve with…she’s worthless!
