    1. Before WW II, the US cut off oil supplies to Germany. This is not a new tactic. Even if Germany manages to keep its citizens from freezing, Germany won't have enough gas to go to war. This is how business is conducted for war.

    2. EU sanctioned Russian Gas, Coal and Oil. Now EU blames Russia. Where does that leave Europe. I am from Groningen Netherlands and no Gas from Groningen to Germany. We have earthquakes for years now waiting for the big One. Groningen is bombed by Earthquakes. That must stop.

    3. Drama, drama, dramaโ€ฆ WION pursues its daily EU agenda and nose browns Putinโ€™s despotic regime. No fear, Europe is well placed to overcome – and so will Ukraine. Canโ€™t say the same for Russia and its lapdog in India.

    4. Screw Putin! He wants an empire. And India,a democracy, feeds right into him, why, you ask? I tell you,to buy, billions in substandard weapons. India really needs to side w the west. 2e love there ppl and culture, can Russians say that? Heck no they can't.

    5. Russia is definitely demonstrating that it has the power to retaliate against the sanctions imposed on it. Sanctions work both ways. Europe will learn the hard way.

    6. Russia and Mr. Putin has got it going on…I am so glad I am not over there with them making a couple decisions, because right now would be the perfect timing for my other business partners to get all their Yachts and other belongings back and their frozen money!!! Good I don't have any shot calling power.

    7. Anything you can do, I can do better.
The world can't sanction Russia enough but when the shoes on the other foot, Europe calls it a Foul.
Two can play the same game.

    8. Once Putin was able to sell his gas and get around sanctions and sustain the economy even though it itโ€™s a little painful, why would he sell gas to Europe gas ever again? He was 10 moves ahead

    9. Europe can't take that chance? So why they buy gas from Russia for years and then all of a sudden sanction them so they can't get gas?

    10. I'm sure he only wants respect ๐Ÿ™..but he is creating world war 3, but only difference is the world will be at war with hom unfortunately

    11. We've known this has been coming for decades. To ukraine I'd say…." Not one step back"… back up ukraine even better and harder, whilst doing whatever we can to get through this, it's hardly a civilisation ending event is it Russia shutting a pipeline? Grow a pair of balls, Russia's army is an embarrassment and far closer to outright defeat than is obvious I reckon.
Putin is the enemy not the Russian people.

    12. Russia has been able to bully Europe in the short term, right now Europe is buying 50% less Russian fuel and as the strategic resources are filled (now 85%) they will buy even less. Same thing in the coming years: it's not a good idea in the medium to long term to threat and starve those who are your clients. Also it's plain stupidity to stop Nordstream 1 at the end of August when there's no need for gas: now that Europe leaders got well scared they will "quickly" (as in before winter starts) take actions to put price caps, separate electric and gas markets, lower the price of renewables way before an actual lack of gas can hit them in December.
