    Ethereum Merge – Deflationary – Triple Halving – Eth 2.0 Guide & Price Shock



    Discussing the Ethereum Merge scheduled to occur between Sept 14-16. This has previously been called Eth 2.0 and entails the merge of ethereum’s proof of work mainnet execution layer with the proof of stake beacon change. It will entail a change in ether’s consensus mechanism from mining to staking. Discussing Eth’s price predictions, the triple halving event, ultra sound money, and eth becoming deflationary due to a 90% decrease in issuance.       Remember, many exchanges will freeze transactions during the merge period. Moving ERC20 tokens to hardware wallets will avoid any problems. I suggest leaving them there, all centralised exchanges are risky. Wallets like Exodus & Trust wallets pay APY on many tokens like ADA. Not Your Keys, Not Your Crypto. Diversify into those ETH killers too peeps. ETH is still only 50% complete. IMHumbleO

      Lost his voice.. allegedly. ETH merge will have hiccups but be great for network growth and stability. Many coins to be on sale this month IMO.

      Great breakdown ๐Ÿ‘ looking like already priced in. Don't think there's much excitement about it since it'll still be too slow and expensive to use.
      Cardano looking like it's gonna be fast and ready to go though

      FYI the vast majority of eth are unstaked and held by the creators and early adopters. The stakers (mostly new holders) will likely be dumped on by the time they are allowed to unstaked.

      Thanks for the update. It always hurts to lose crypto…I lost 1btc and 20 eth and 10k Cardano. We had a 10k$ at the height of the value. I feel your pain. Any updates on Celsius shenanigans?

      If ethereum becomes more efficient and faster than Bitcoin and people dump Bitcoin then all that energy used to mine the 19 million Bitcoins has been a total waste,

      Yesterday, Chile is protesting demanding a new Constitution, Germany and Czech Republic held protests against their government, Italians are burning their electric bills in protest to high energy prices, OPEC+ reported cutting 100,000 barrels a day in production (it will increase to 300,000 barrels cut), the U.K. just got a new prime minister who ran on "capping electric prices" (her name is Liz Truss) and there was a report that a U.K. talk show, "This Morning", had a spin-the-wheel mini game in which a winner can "get 4 months of energy bills paid" by the show.

      The Weeknd walkout reminds me of when digital recording was new and performers (like Milli Vanilli) would take a huge risk on new technology to carry their show. As a musician I had no problem with the drummer listening to a click track to keep on tempo, or a singer singing along with the song in ear – but I could never understand risking an entire show and fan base by trying to dupe the crowd into believing the show was live. Obviously now the tech and fidelity is good enough that it is hard to discern whether it is live or not, but I still can't imagine risking such a huge event trying to pull that off… oh wait, am I talking about crypto?

      Tiff, after the merge, you might want to do a naked dance on top of a table. If you are shy, you can wear pasties. I am burnt out waiting for this change. As far as Celsius, I believe Dr. Weaverโ€™s analysis that Bitcoin mining for a profit will not be profitable. We are less than 2 years away from another halving. Then, the Bitcoin mining rewards will be much less.
