Hayes believes that the market is still assuming the Merge WILL NOT go ahead and is underestimating the effects it will have on price.
For those not familiar with Arthur Hayes, he’s a crypto investor veteran who founded BitMex back in 2014. Hayes is one of the most experienced figures in the crypto space and for the last few months he’s been blogging about why Ethereum is undervalued heading into the merge.
In his most recent interview, Hayes gives a price prediction for Etheruem that he thinks it will hit by the end of the year.

So, regarding Jerome Powell.
I make no claim about how this will affect Eth. However, Powell and the Fed are holding back right now because of the mid-term elections coming up. Once the mid-term election happens, all bets are off. They are accelerate Quantitative Tightening massively.
Don't get fooled by the fact that the democratic controlled government is doing everything in their power to hold the economy together ahead of the elections in November. Once those elections are over, the real problems are going to become visible.

The fact is, NFTs, BTC is the future of crypto and the question most people ask themselves is – if this is right time to invest? I feel those who would allow the market dynamism to determine when to trade or not are either new in this space in general or probably just naive, the sphere have seen far worse times than this, enlightened traders continue to make good use of the dip and pump even acquiring more equities towards trading sessions, I’d say that more emphasis should be put into trading, since it is way profitable than holding.
