  1. If you own the equipment and can make even 5% after power you are doing ok. Unless you think its ok to lock your money in a bank for a 1.25% CD for 12 months. Some people don't quite understand that crypto can go up or down. My 5% today might be worth 25% tomorrow. Your CD will still be 1.25% regardless. Just a thought. Oh wait miners are evil and the cards are junk after mining so why bother buying them? Only good thing about Eth death is our crap government gets no taxes from us now. Can't wait to hear them whine.

  2. Love your revisionist history.

Yes there was gamer demand, the problem is though that no Nvidia GPUs were even going into the distribution channels.

So there was not even the possibility of gamer demand being even remotely met.

  3. What does a miner do when the GPU stops working? Fix it themselves or RMA? Buying a used GPU isn't an intelligent option for me personally, even if I can afford to buy multiple cards for the price of one. Maybe when certified used GPU market is created that offers a minimum warranty…

  4. ive watched the 6700xt go from about 450 to 350 free shipping over the last 2~ months. i think intel messed up by waiting so long to release arc.

  5. If all the miners ran their rigs for a day, just 24hrs doing work for science, imagine the good they could do! It would be a great amend for all the wasted energy as it would show the world what it could do if it worked together for the common good.

  6. I'm extremely skeptical about lower prices on a lot of the GPUs. For example some of the lower wattage GPUs with higher amounts of VRAM like the RX 6700 XT if you undervolt them they may still be profitable.

  7. Just picked up an ASUS TUF 3080 12GB from Amazon warehouse for $563!!! It's already starting! Gonna hold it for the 30-day return window and see if it falls lower. HAHAHA! 🤣🤣🤣

  8. I'm walking away from the PC world and going back to consoles and retro gaming. I'll be powering down my desktop and putting it in storage. I hope that every crypto miner suffers horrible financial lose and that the GPU makers continue to bleed money and their stocks go down. I'm just an average gamer like so many and have been for the past two years trying to get the GPU I wanted at a reasonable price. I haven't been able to do so like so many. I wish you guys on here the best at finding what you guys want. I'm going back to the world of console games.

  9. I saw a significant performance between my 2080ti and 3080ti at 4k graphics settings maxed, on 120hz oled. I've made the mistake of buying the newest, powerful gpu, anticipating future releases and no games come out that utilize it.

  10. i would consider stockin' up on Nvidia graphics cards but not for gaming or mining, but for content creation workstations with Nvenc unless i want a spare RTX 2080 Ti for emergency purposes

  11. Miners have been nothing but a pain for each and everyone of us. I have no reapect for them whatsoever and i hope their "portfolio" will go down in ruin. GO GET A JOB!

  12. When I first started out my company, I was running broke until I was introduced to ethereum mining. I borrowed 80k and got into ethereum mining through a mining expert, Nancy and in just two weeks I made over 270k

  13. You have a good point. I also wonder why people recommended to buy a gfx card ASAP. In the case of JayTwoCents it was so moronic I never watched a video from him again
