Rob, it is obvious what the killer app is for ETH and it is clearly not just speculation, here is why:
-You said yourself ETH is 99.5% more energy efficient, is now ESG friendly, far more so than incumbent financial systems or other commodity investments like gold.
-You showed yourself that ETH is top 2, (#1 depending on time frame) in developer activity and the most TVL of any chain in the space BY FAR..
-You demonstrated yourself that ETH is now deflationary unlike any other crypto including BTC!
-ETH is the most decentralized of any chain with 1000s of validators
-ETH has essentially been given a pass of not being a security, good luck for Gary to prove it is when his SEC has already deemed it not.
-100's app offering decentralized lending, DEFI, liquid staking, NFTs, domain names.
-Yes ETH isnt able to scale/reduce fees yet but its called an iterative process, as they are now on the beacon chain, the Surge or scaling is likely to roll out before the next bull run. And before you say yeah it will take another 4 years, this is BY FAR the hardest step changing engines on a plane while flying, scaling is easy in comparison.
-And now for the killer app: YOU CAN GET 10-12% APY BY STAKING YOUR ETH with a project that has all the above benefits in a secure decentralized environment, where else can you get these features? Rob with all due respect, what the hell else do you want it to do, drive you to work? I know you are a moderate/skeptic when it comes to endorsing projects/crypto and this is why I follow you, but for you to be still luke warm on ETH and say "Its all still speculation" is irrationally contrarian.
-And if you say I am just an ETH shill, I actually prefer Cosmos but I must call a spade a spade and recognize ETH for the advantages it offers.

If there is any way that we all can get all of our crypto back in kind it may restore some of my faith in the crypto market. These days the Bigs seem to be able to rip-off the commons with only a slap on the wrist. They suck that up and go back to what they were doing and write that off as a business expense. Meanwhile we lose our money and get nothing back besides the awful experience . Anyways keep up the great work !!!

i invest in a few cryptos like bitcoin core, bitcoin cash, monero, and i use stable tokens on ether chain (erc20) or on smart chain (bep20) or on tron chain (trc20).

I know this probably annoying question at this point but what is your take on the iso 20022 coins who have all these partnerships with bank and are involved in the beta programs here in the US for competing to make cbdc for the dollar. These partnerships show that they will be effecting millions of people. Im not big on price action bc i know these are longer plays as they will be the foudation to whichever killer dapp brings people web3.
