A series of unexpected leaks on two natural gas pipelines running from Russia under the Baltic Sea to Germany triggered concerns about sabotage Tuesday. The pipelines have been at the center of an energy war between Europe and Russia since the invasion of Ukraine in late February.

The presenter says the language of the EU has "stiffened around this subject." I don't think so ! They've taken ages to say the bloody obvious, which is that it was sabotage. I think their problem is that they don't think Russia did it. Russia was keeping Europe short of gas just by turning the valves. They didn't need to blow it up as well. The big leverage they had over Europe was the ability to turn the gas on again. Now they can't because someone has blown it up. This must have been done by someone who wants to make sure Europe can't do a deal for gas and to keep them in the war.

German factories are invested in them in 20 %, and the Netherlands and British companies have some small investors in that pipeline. But the pipeline is worth nearly 8 Billion Dollars. And the Russian president said for some days that if russian urgent facilities will be attacked that will have consequences for the attackers. So what policy in a third world – war some states and some Oligarchs will make to earn more money by the death of millions of people?
