‘Sabotage’: EU President says Nord Stream gas leaks on purpose | The EU Commission President has said that leaks on the Nord Stream gas pipelines were an “act of sabotage”. Ursula von der Leyen warned of the “strongest possible response” should active European energy infrastructure be attacked. Two underwater blasts were recorded prior to the discovery of three leaks on the Nord Stream pipelines linking Russia and Europe. The Nord Stream gas pipe network in the Baltic Sea were damaged in a total of three places on Monday.
