With the Ethereum Merge having taken place, the Proof of Work chain for Ethereum has reached its end. Ethereum ($ETH) is no longer mineable – but what about all the hardware that was being used to mine it? That hardware has since been moved to various other ETHash compatible coins. Specifically, GPU mining was what got me into cryptocurrency over half a decade ago. I absolutely loved GPU mining, but I could tell that the writing was on the wall regarding its end – and it seems that time has come. There is no coin that is profitable to mine with GPUs, and thus we can consider GPU mining a lost cause. Should you still buy GPUs in anticipation of a “saving grace?” Or should you avoid it at all costs? Let’s take a look at the state of GPU mining after the Ethereum Merge.

I mean not to be negative but everything is going bad right now, stock market is in the toilet, housing market is so competitive right now and forget about crypto is so volatile. Dont get me wrong, i enjoy mining and building rigs. I have a couple of gpus and asic miners but it is crazy how the market is rolling.
