These reports just aren't true. I don't know if she's talking about really poor European countries but the rest of us are fine. If there is no gas you can just switch to an electric cooker and Oven. I switched mine ages ago. You can buy electric heaters from 12 Euros also and most have electric showers

When there is spike in energy bills, cooking , cleaning, heating and cooling in your households cost more. The industries and agricultural institutions will also have a higher operational cost which would lead to closing down of these industries and institutions, this will lead to higher demand for food and price hike in food prices, basic common sense is not common at all, alternate energy producers like nuclear power plant is a great idea for europe but profiteers would lobby it….

Stop using GDP figures to show how much a government spends. This is misleading. GDP is not the money country has to spend. Better use tax revenues AKA budget. For Germany it’s 800 billion. So in August it spent 8% of available government money on subsidizing energy.
