Silver has led gold up dramatically recently, and I certainly have not avoided stacking silver. In fact I just bought some constitutional silver or junk silver a bunch of silver rounds. However, gold is still on my radar, and I believe it won’t be long before gold tops $2000 an ounce…especially when the Fed pauses and pivots its feckless inflation fight. Do you want to trade some silver for some pre 33 gold ? I've been trying to get my first gold coin in my dansco type set album
Do you keep track of your average cost.? I usually only stack maples and 10 oz bars and I know the average cost of each . I broke down last week and bought a commemorative set but I could not refuse it as it was about $200 below its issue price in 2017.

Video suggestion; I’m an equal opportunity bullion investor. I like the best deal (as close to spot or less) on gold or silver; coins, rounds, bars, numi’s etc. Do a comparison of Tim, vs coin show, vs competition LCS, vs craigslist etc. safe location person to person cash buy/sell. This would be the ultimate video!
Not sure if you've ever commented on this elsewhere, but I'm really surprised that you just touch your gold coins with your bare hands and don't wear gloves. Also from your past interactions with Tim I would have thought you have way more gold than 50 ounces. I was obviously mistaken. Congrats on reaching this milestone.

I'm 63 yrs old & having been buying gold & silver coins since I was 15 yrs old. I love pre-33 gold. But it's not a good investment. You pay collectors value up front & when you sell, you generally only get 80% of Grey sheet listed Value. It's history, but you take a big hair cut when you sell, if it's not slabed, interpretation of grade leans towards the buyer, just somethings to consider 🤔
I just love Pre – 1933 gold Coins. It's the only Gold coins I will buy since they don't make them anymore. I currently have 11 pre 1933 gold coins ( wish I had more ). I also have a 1813 20 Franc from France with Napoleon on it and two modern gold coins I wear on my fingers. I will continue to buy these Coins * when no one is watching me *. My most favorite Pre – 1933 gold Coin is. my First and Only twenty Dollar Gold Double Eagle from 1915 ( no mint Mark ).

O man. I need a gold piece for my stack. I almost got one the other morning but couldn't do it. Maybe in the morning I'll muster up the fiat to buy some.
