EU fails to agree on cap on gas prices after 11 hour summit

After two days of talks, European Union leaders have wrapped up yet another summit without reaching an agreement on how to solve Europe’s energy crisis.
The prices have surged as Europe tries to cut its dependence on Russian supplies.

  1. You have to be a donkey or a xenophob to believe Zelesney, why would Russia blow up a dam that would flood Russian territory they are fighting to defend, it doesn't make sense. What makes more sense is Zelesney threatening to blow the dam flooding the people who chose Russia over Ukraine in the referendum to remain Ukranian or become Russian .

  2. Directeurs de unions européennes parlement toi une salopes et toutes les salopes en française dans la gouvernement toutes les secteurs. Gouvernement française toutes les secteurs tous salopes, monsieur président manuel macaron président de vendeurs de salopes.

  3. The EU was a noble experiment. It's rash expansion to the east, spurred by the blatant imperialism of the US and their number one tool the UK, and by wider corporate greed eagerly feasting on the public assets of the former communist states, will undoubtedly prove to be it's downfall.

  4. A price cap on Russia's oil and gas exports isn't unrealistic. If a price cap is instituted by the EU, it would be in other countries' best interest to support it. Who doesn't want cheaper oil and gas? Why would any country buy from Russia at a higher price? If Russia said they wouldn't sell to anyone at the price cap and everyone decides they won't buy at inflated prices, then Russia doesn't have any customers. Their economy collapses.

Second, shipping insurance is provided by Western countries. They need only refuse to supply that insurance to vessels not selling at the price cap. Such vessels would be denied entry into most global ports without insurance. Russia could self-insure, but does anyone really believe they would honor such insurance in the event of an accident?

  5. Directeurs européennes unions parlement besoin de baissé toi.

    Tu sais pourquoi ?

  6. The EU is not the United States or Canada, these countries have natural gas and oil. Ursula von der Leyen's husband is in the United States, and her children are also in the United States. Does the EU think that such chairman will seek benefits for the EU?

  7. France Germany and also the Netherlands using the same lame argument that countries like China will run off with the gas if gas prizes are limited. It's complete bonkers. First of all: China's economy is in a recession which will lead to a lower global demand. Second: they're purchasing gas directly from Russia at a large discount. There is no way they will cough up the extreme high price on the spot market. Third: China doesn't depend on gas but on coal. No nation is large or rich enough to replace Europe's demand for gas. The whole situation proves only one thing: gas prizes are manufactured by big energy companies themselves and they all blame Russia to get away with their kleptomaniac behaviour. A very small group of private investors are destroying many economies to their own benefit and the loss of millions of households. Conservatives all around the world are doing their utmost to keep it that way.

  8. The dam will be blown when the water will be colder..😂. Let’s see how America and the west will cushion the effects. Perhaps the flooded water will be boiled for Ukraine to keep warm. 😂. Don’t dare the Great Russia/ Putin.

  9. Europe needs to just give the UK. 🖕
The UK has already said that they think they are better off alone and they aren’t. The British currency is in the toilet their only charismatic monarch is dead.

The only thing that they can export now is cheddar cheese. And maybe gin.

  10. Cap the price of something you don’t own and it’s a necessity for you. It just keeps getting funny, it’s like their main objective is self damage 😂

  11. What Americans need to destroy EU .. america want EU economy go down look 2020 –2021 …1€=0'75 look now 2022 1$=1,063 look economy of EU going down if it's head like this and when it happened that EU will separate each other believe me and old EU people Will dead for cold ❄️🥶 this year if EU not think well your people will go dying instead of buying gas solution you are helping weapons for Ukrainian troops ok go head results will see next 2023

  12. Why would putin compromise the region he annexed by blowing up the dam? Projecting your agenda zelensky? There are also reports ukraine is attacking that dam.. this would also affect water availability for Russia's Ukrainian regions…
