    As a Frenchmen , i'd take that with a big grain of salt. Le Maire is a joke and a bullshiter, making big declarations with no follow up. On top of that you are taxed to death in France.

    Rob, here is a thought… We had no blow off top, if we did we would be down 85% or so right now. Perhaps it's possible that we aren't down 85% because we didn't go up the same percentage as we did in the past. Diminishing Returns means Diminishing Losses, volatility decreases over time. Just a thought.

    Walmart getting into crypto, is like Walmart getting into digital photos, digital music, Walmart phone, e-commerce, etc. Maybe this time is different, but I highly doubt it. While I think there is room for a Walmart solution, Walmart is not creative enough and bold enough to pull off a successful initiative. Same goes for France. Yes, France could set up 'free commercial power zones' connected to their nuclear power stations, but they would never do that. There's no benefit to setting up your solution in (based out of) France, and then have France turn around and legislate, litigate and tax you to death.

    Jeff Booth thinks it all eventually goes to zero except Bitcoin. Because of what is being built on Bitcoin. Satoshi (Adam Back) said the same at Bitcoin Amsterdam. They are in a position to know, therefore my money is on them.

    in France, a crypto currency is considered as a crypto asset, only for investment…

    each time an investor sells a 'crypto asset' for fiat (euro) or to buy a product / service, he has to declare a 'cession' of crypto asset which is really complicated because we have to consider the value of each crypto asset we hold, at date time of the cession, on all exchanges / wallets. and these values are used to calculate the plus / moins value (gain or loss).

    'regulation' is to slow down crypto use and adoption as a peer to peer payment system without banks, not to protect you…

    Rob, crypto isn't a cult. Cults discourage members from exploring alternative belief systems. Bitcoiners tend to make a point of learning about all forms of money, past and present.
    To be fair, the similarities between Bitcoin and religion are rather striking and undeniable, and I'm certain I'm not the only one in the space who sees it the same way.

    People commit fraud in every corner of the economy. Some people (banks) sell fake ESG funds. Doesn’t make ESG a fraud.
    Nothing but fraud in the crypto space. So why don’t you call crypto a fraud ?

    ESG is moving onto blockchain. Immutable & trustless. Isn’t that the whole point of blockchain ?
    Will you still call it a fraud then ?
    Hmmm…. Maybe it’s because you’re in a cult….

    If you get into gamefi, you'll spend ethereum lol. I'll probably spend bitcoin when it's valuable. But yea, how can we expect for bitcoin and crypto to get bigger if all we do is sit on it? It was made to spend. Not to get rich.
