With nearly all transactions since the Ethereum Merge being censored, ETH has been moving further and further away from being a permissionless decentralized smart contract blockchain. This is also BAD for Bitcoin, especially BTC mining. Subscribe – http://voskco.in/Sub

Proof of Work (PoW) is under attack. The media loves to talk about how Bitcoin miners are “destroying the world” with their energy consumption. Following the ETH Merge, they have been pushing to remove Bitcoin (BTC) from PoW as well. You see lots of big companies joining forces with ETH, but now almost all of the blocks since the merge have been censored. That’s not decentralized. Are we trending toward a world with central bank digital currencies (CBDC)? Here’s why that’s not good news for crypto and the blockchain.

    1. it's a trap. the Bible has long predicted the end of physical currency and how unimaginably evil that will be, but you crypto guys walked right into it. maybe you should take a break from trying to make a billion dollars and go to church once in a while, before you end up taking The Mark of The Beast

    2. Its not a fav of mine couldnt work out why liked it high gas fees and pretending to be decentralised. That why you should stick to Bitcoin and whats building on that

    3. 🎟🎟🎟❤️👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍ETHW Proof of work rules 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

    4. Damn good video, dude! You've got your head in the right place.

Wow, sneaking in a CBDC via a backdoor like ETH is diabolical! It sucks for us, but you've got to admire their creativity. I've never liked ETH since its gas fees climbed so high, now I've got another reason to dislike it.

IMHO, you should start making plans now to leave the USA. I'm still an American citizen, but my presence in "the empire" is strictly virtual now.

    5. Pretty cocky to think anybody cares what you actually think man. You def are a conspiracy theorist 😂 probably voted trump huh? 😂😂😂😂😂😂

    6. PoW energy concerns were always a talking point for people trying to take away the power of the network. How else do you work around PoW? You claim that it's just a big dumb waste of energy, and then you move your $165B market cap coin to "proof of stake." And everyone rejoices.

It should be crystal clear to anyone still in ETH to GET OUT WHILE YOU STILL CAN. If that's even possible given the censoring of transactions.

I wrote the above before I got to the point in the video that you said it feels like a bait-and-switch. Yes, that's exactly what it is.

PoS is garbage and anyone who is in their right mind and DOESN'T hold a ton of it already is going to want to run FAR away from it as fast as possible. I'm not just blowing smoke, either. We're seeing the effects of it RIGHT NOW.

    7. You know what was also used for shuffling dirty money? Handing someone money for the goods or services they gave you. Convenient how legitimate business transactions are being equated with breaking the law.

The lesson to learn here is that in the future you don't own anything, and you don't have any money, other than what the government allows. Unless people WAKE UP and pay attention to what is going on around them.

      Thanks for making this video.

    8. I've watched your videos a couple times in the past, but hearing you even mention CBDCs, let alone talking about them multiple times? I might have to subscribe. Because you're obviously not just a guy with a bunch of mining rigs selling sponsorships. You actually understand what is happening. I imagine this video will probably result in a net negative of subscribers, as the average person thinks you've devolved into conspiracy theories.

I hope I am wrong, and your viewers are smart enough to listen to you. My ears are wide open.

    9. Hiding any part of the blockchain degrades "trust", which IS the most promising aspect of blockchain. Blockchain is the first time in human history that offers a "glimpse" at the world being able to formulate a real, single, statement of "truth"…. So hiding or censor of the blockchain output defeats that goal/function, it defeats the trust. It's only silly humans being selfish, and not thinking, to act out this way. Censoring the blockchain is childish. It's petty, it's short sighted, and if there's any wisdom behind the action… it's for very bad intentions. 🦊

    10. I agree, it makes a case for alternatives to eth, ones that go back to the first principles and ethos of crypto's origin. Censorship resistance is one of key benefits/principles of cryptos. It should not become something of the past.
