To say Russia is blackmailing and weaponising gas is stupidity in the highest order when your sanction backfired, when EU blasted the Nord Stream pipe. EU have naive politicians. 8 years of planing to attack Russia failed and now blame Russia for their demise, that's their politicians can offer Europeans.
Even if the war ended with Russia keeping easternmost Ukraine, i don’t exactly see the purpose for Putin, Nato added 2 strong members and agreed to spend more on defense as a whole and the Ukrainians will be your mortal enemy right at your footstep. Russia would have much better served to become Ukraines top energy supplier while financing the pro Russia opposition, you can’t beat someone so they can love you.

Zelensky is grandstanding in daily videos. He tells citizens to fight while his family stay away from the action. Just surrender & save cities and lives! Russia will win either way. With sanctions Ukraine will get undamaged cities back

Russia was sanction by america and allies consequently russia retaliate by closing nordstream pipeline..sanction against sanction..eventually people will suffer,economy will collapse then there might be civil war later on.

No frau ursula, YOU are shooting yourself in the foot. Not russia. Because you decided not to buy gas from russia, and by doing so you did not damage russia at all, putin got even more money because of your decision. But you did damage to EU, to germany, to EU solidarity, to people of EU and their budgets as you took money out of peoples pockets… or tried to take the money… people are not stupid… they see that you are trying to rip them off, while following american commands…
