In this session, we will be building a fully decentralized #application (dApp) using the #OutSystems platform with a back-office to manage our smart contracts on the Ethereum test network. The dApp will store the community members’ certifications in a decentralized fashion, providing immutability, non-repudiation, and irrefutable proof. We will deploy and monitor our contract solely through our OutSystems back-office #app, and run, interact, and fetch data from our contracts through our dApp using hot wallets for the exercise. Our dApp will also be deployed as a #ProgressiveWebApplication (#PWA) so that we can use mobile dApp browsers to seamlessly run it. Previous blockchain knowledge is recommended, as this will be a complete, end-to-end, hands-on exercise and not a blockchain introduction.
