  1. The coin market is in a bubble so take advantage because all bubbles burst. Silver is silver, my children's children will live in a cashless society, they will never know the feeling of a "pocket full of change". As for coin collecting, human nature doesn't change over time, fads, customs, traditions do but human nature does not. People don't collect things they have no connection to so I think coin collecting will take a nose dive along with a lot of its numismatics value, just like it spiked up it can also spike down. Meaning a few will still collect it but the majority won't put $600, $300, or $100 into a coin with less than 1 oz of silver. The argument is not against collectors or collecting, there will always be both. People literally buy and collect rocks, but there is always a connection. When my children's children are grown, in a society that has grown up with no connection to physical coinage I think the interest will decrease along with the amount of money people are willing to spend on it. Don't think about how "we" view it today, think about it through the lens of such a society… Stamp collecting might be a good example. In our generation alone we went from buying stamps regularly to, I literally can't remember when I bought stamps last. We went from writing letters to emails to video calls. My LCS whose store still has "coins and stamps" on it doesn't deal in stamps anymore. Still has them, still says some are worth thousands but has moved away from them along with many one time stamp collectors. There will always be collectors but the pool of buyers are much fewer and those willing to cough up thousands are even fewer still. I guess this is my argument with where coin collecting is going. Im not hating, I collect coins, I'm just thinking out load. Cheers….

  2. I love the toned coins. If you ever sell that non slabbed toner I may be your buyer. I haven't advanced into high price coins yet. I'm still going in the red buying 90% junk with the occasional toned up 1 ounce. I guess I'm still a rookie.

  3. Pirate I would be very careful with looking up prices on the red book. Also just because somthing it’s listed for say 700 and you get it for 500 that doesn’t mean you made 200. It’s very hard to find someone that is willing to pay full price (top dollar) for a coin when they can proboly find it somewhere else cheaper. I’m not a huge numismatic stacker. But I do know just because somthing says it’s worth a price doesn’t mean your going to get full value when it comes time to sell. I’m not knocking ur hussle tho forsure keep the grind up.
