Buy THESE!? | What Kind of GOLD & SILVER Is Best To Buy, Invest & Stack?
In this video I talk about what kind of gold and silver you should buy. There is no easy answer but there are a lot of good things to consider when thinking of buying gold and silver and investing in gold and silver. I share some of my thoughts on what is good for me and I encourage everyone else to evaluate what is right for them and what fits their own financial circumstances.

    1. Thanks, Backyard Bullion! I agree that there is no standard answer and that everyone has their own financial situation and path to take. Basics for me is to stay out of debt as much as possible(especially high interest credit cards) and DCA into metals every month. Like a lot of other stackers I will sometimes take advantage of great deals and price dips and stack more at those times. Keep stackin y’all! πŸ€™πŸ»

    2. Yea, its a bit like asking the question; what is the best music to listen to? Its completely up to you what you like, i love the semi numismatic bullion coins, limited mintage, covers an array of subjects and fulfills the collector addiction within my own veins. Make your stack as personal to you as your music collection and enjoy your own lifes vibrations. My silver is currently listening to M Peoples moving on up….. time to break fee, nothings going to stop me, yea πŸ˜‰

    3. I was getting my silver and gold direct from the Royal Mint but now I get it from bullion by post (ebay too) as it is normally less for 1 or 2 coins and I also us chase bank and get my 1% back too

    4. I tend to mix and match with preference to proof coins and/or limited mintage silver coins.

It is possible to profit, sometimes it can be quite healthy.

    5. CKC member – Try to get a bit of everything. I have a few fractionals and 1oz gold/silver Britannias. Just in it for the long run. Hopefully a pension fund.

    6. I'm holding onto cash these days. Still have my modest stack but seldom buy anything. Might pick up some fractional 2023 gold. It's interesting that we may get 2 monarchs on one coin year, even if only for future curiosity.
There was much talk in recent years about silver being a hedge against inflation. I hope this turns out to be true over the next couple of years as BoE predict recession.
      Cheers BYB.

    7. Today in AU you can buy a kilo Koala silver coin for 1100aud. 1000gbp = 1700aud. Yikes!!
I'm new and only have a few oz's of fractional gold, I just buy what I can afford and occasionally trade up to a full oz. My next goal is a full oz Britannia.
I don't have any silver or platinum yet. I know David Morgan likes platinum.

    8. We have to recognise that the so-called premium on coins is in fact simply a disconnect between paper contract prices, which set the Spot price, and the physical product which merely reflects the actual selling price.

    9. If you are buying either gold or silver buy bullion only if you are an investor. Coins carry a premiun over bullion. Those premiums can be used to buy more bullion. This does not apply to coin collectors.

    10. I absolutely do feel for you on that crazy VAT on Silver. Getting past that is a big step. I just got my 1oz Gold Yale, it is super nice, and getting hard to find. Waiting on two each of the 10oz Royal Coat of Arms, and10oz Tudor Yale. I have them already, and love them. I also ordered 6 of the 2023 Brittanias, 1oz Silver, I've never had one before. All of the premiums are fair, really not much more than generics, and I think way better!!

    11. I think gold is the only way to go with the premiums on silver I am seeing right now unless I can get a deal I am only buying gold right now.

If you think gold and silver will make you rich you are in it for the wrong reason, it's a slow burner and you will be very disappointed, I use it as a way to strengthen my savings just in case the 6-month emergency funds aren't enough or say banks go south again and there isn't enough cash on hand to feed the demand.

I have made some money off the more collectible stuff mainly Marvel coins that I have 0 interest in.

    12. Gold to buy sheild back sovereign s ,,don't buy silver unless you want to sit on it for years ,,sheild backs go up every year even if gold goes down πŸ‘

    13. Never discount a hot dinner, my friend. 😎 :sips port while you ramble: 😎 My thoughts on "What's Best" boil down to this: a strategy for future liquidity. That strategy is based on stacking a range of "sizes" whether it's various sized bars or fractionals of bullion coins or rounds. Currently I'm very fond of 1/4 , 1/2 and 2 ounce coins / rounds., and 250 g bars. Future dealers may not have the capital to buy 1 kilo bars, but there will be far more dealers willing to buy a fist full of 1 oz rounds. (Bonus points if you can follow that tangent back to a movie title. 🀠) Liquidity. Maximize your future options for liquidity by diversifying your "denominations" of bars / coins / rounds in the here and now. Cheers.

    14. I have made a point of collecting all years of the Britannias in the best possible condition, a few are MS70, 69 or 68, some are rare and hard to find, like the 1997, but I also collect other low mintage collectible silver 1oz and piefort, and regular british historic coins, I also have some British and American gold, and a little Platinum and Palladium, I think that's fairly diversified.

    15. Hi BYB, i dont know how to message you on here so ill write a comment. Have you ordered any of the HM The Queen E2 memorial coins? Ive ordered a 1oz Proof silver and thinking I should get it graded when it arrives. Ive never graded anything before, and it seems very confusing.. Im not sure what im looking for. NGS has economy, standard etc. I dont know the difference ! Also, if i send it as soon as i get it, can i get an early release sign on it? Ill love to get some help, maybe even a video explaining grading? πŸ™‚ Thanks

    16. The kilo coin is fantastic. πŸ‘
But I add up everything to see what is the best and cheapest way to get a kilo of silver at a time.

    17. Being diverse in my stack and collection of coins seems to work for me, have slowed down on buying till new year, revenue from other types of gold & silver has slowed down but i still have a regular income and hoping revenue will pickup towards Chrismas. thanks for sharing.
