Hopefully Ukraine and Russia can garner a truce deal by January. Russia may sell gas to selective European countries. Norway has fuel, why not ask Norway to supply for a interim period like now during the winter months .

Winter hasn't started yet and some areas in Germany and Austria do get fairly cold, even if the average might be different now. But the main problem remains, it will stay unaffordable for many businesses and private people. Running everything permanently with LNG what used to depend on cheap Russian pipeline gas will never be the same again. They applied the sanctions, because they knew it will decimated the Euro and weaken the powerhouse. To bring a one world currency, they need to take the old once out first.

It's absolutely stunning that virtually not a SINGLE person here has the character to articulate one of the main reasons all this has happened to the extent we are seeing. The moronic Europeans (leaders AND voters!) worshipping their green religion and destroying their greatest domestic supply of energy (COAL!) which would go a long way towards keeping them autonomous in energy, and then relying on the one country (RUSSIA!) which has been historically their greatest potential enemy. And which country, in hindsight, is looking the wisest at the moment? That's right, Poland, retaining all of their coal-fired power plants, which are fired with 80% domestic coal. You green religious zealots who keep making and completely missing all those date specific catastrophic climate predictions for the last 40 years?
