The IShowSpeed Crypto Controversy Explained

So, some of you may have heard of this wildly popular, soccer-obsessed, seventeen-year-old YouTuber named IShowSpeed.

He’s basically the biggest broadcaster on the platform, having amassed over thirteen million subscribers streaming everything from FIFA to Talking Ben to Omegle.

He’s no stranger to controversy but, now, he’s found himself in some fairly hot water for checking what seems to be the final box when it comes to being super rich and on YouTube: hocking crypto.

  1. He gotta understand, he let Paradox on his stream to scam his audience. Have to take responsibility and move forward. I doubt he will lose his audience. At the end of the day, they just want to be entertained and watch him act a fool.

  2. my take is, shit like this happens far too often – and it's always younger content creators being targeted by these shitcoin scams. they look at the money they'll get and take it all at face value, with no regards to their audience and how they'll feel. it's naive, but it happens to a lot of people

  3. Watched Coffezilla's video about this the two dudes who went to his interview were hilarious! It goes to show that not all company owners know what to do with criticism and judgement.

  4. He’s just in the wrong as much as the people he promoted. He should know his audience is demographic, he knew it was a scam, and still with those people on his stream and even took the promotion. The whole oh he’s 18 that doesn’t work. There are certain things where the excuse could work but this situation where there are great consequences and taking advantage of your own audience that is a severe problem. And this isn’t even the first time he said it extremely stupid decision making i.e. the tiny little fireworks off in his room on Fourth of July.

  5. Rome fell from the inside this is so fun to watch play out in real time! Can’t get the crypto bros to fool the sports jocks and the jocks can’t convince the nerds that it’s normal to pay a woman to write their name on them… “oh where do we begin the rubble or our sins” 🎶

  6. dont make vids about crypto.. gosh… this is an E-SPORTS channel… not a crypto channel… and yes.. the last few crypto vids you brought were like…. old news… when youz guys see the vid on coffeezilla you dont need to make one too.. you just saw a vid about sth off topic and should go back to make e-xports content… it really got so bad with this channel.. this sucks..

  7. I believe him, he's not a scammer but the crypto itself is and still people getting fall for it over and over again. U can't blame those people blame those mindless people who always fall for it! And I don't pity them at all they truly deserved it!💯👍😆

  8. It’s crazy how people can just get popular for doing shit bag things and then they say “I’ve changed that’s when I was young” and everyone just forgets about their true character. I don’t know how people are so stupid
