    GM and Chrysler don't like to spend allot of money fixing their cars, so they come up with a cheap software fix. That probably won't fix it because it is a problem with the hardware, not the computer

    I never had an easy life given to me. I never scammed anyone. Why do the millionaires keep on scamming if they did it because they could not afford food. Have to disagree with that excuse.

    There's no "basis" in fiat money either. Not when it's detached from anything physical, like gold and silver, and they can just turn on and off the tap as needed.

    Good points Scotty. Even in the US too – an Ivy League person will have contacts to get ideas funded. Not so a kid from poor neighbourhood. I really think we need to look into funding more bright people in poor areas and poor countries. Social mobility even in the US is actually very low – check it out. Also those Somali pirates everyone here hates and the mercenaries – they come from REALLY terrible countries full of crime of little law and order and zero chances. So I totally get your points. Not sure it takes THAT much brains to set up a phone scam operation though, compared to creating software and selling it online. But it is easy money and the police in India mostly turn a blind eye as it actually brings in money to the country usually! But yes, I overall agree with your gist – and it's something that needs talking about more. Thanks for highlighting this!
