Inflation is everywhere, and far worse in other countries. And no, changing politicians won’t fix that — as the UK is finding out. Besides, what are we supposed to do, let Putin terrorize Europe? He’s undone himself this time in Ukraine. Why let him go when this rare opportunity has presented itself? He sure wouldn’t. The world now has a chance to put Russia in its place and keep it there for the foreseeable future. The ensuing tranquility in itself oughta be worth the higher price of gas we are paying now.
