Neom will fail for one huge reason. There is no water. The current desalination plants are turning the nearby salt water bodies even saltier. Eventually the current plants won't be able to use the water supply for fresh water. People have told MBS this but he refuses to listen.
Due to missing sewage canalization heavy rain of recent days caused huge damages. First KSA should improve infrastructure and labor social security etc. before planning nonsense.
