Texas doesn't have the lowest price. Where I live at in North Georgia, quite a few gas stations are $2.78 a gallon.
As a former professional trucker and truck owner, I guarantee you that if the truckers had the balls and brains to shut down for just ONE week, that gas prices would drop like a rock.
Bottom line is, as long as gas and oil are allowed to be traded on the stock and commodity exchanges, the conspiracy between our oil companies and our government will ALWAYS be the rulers of our economy.
