So it sounds like there's a separate computational layer that can ( to a degree within a spectrum of whatever the dapp developer builds into the dapp) deal with your personal information off chain and the only thing that is on chain is the assertions…
For example you need to be a resident of Florida to use said Dapp. It can assert that you are without bringing any of that metadata on chain… I would be interested in knowing how they will mitigate privacy issues on the layer that holds your personal info
