In a tweet CZ doesn't call himself Chinese even though he was born in China by his Chinese parents, raised after Chinese culture, traditions and customs but moved to Canada when he was 12 years old, that obviously still makes him Chinese and still a Chinese citizen but now also a Canadian Citizen but still Chinese and Asian.
If I as a let's say ethnic Swede move to China it doesn't make me Chinese or Asian, I will only be a Chinese citizen but still always Swedish and Caucasian and still a Swedish citizen.
And if i once again as a Ethnic Swede move to China with my ethnic Swedish wife and give birth to a child there then the child will only be a Chinese citizen and neither Chinese or Asian, it will still always be an ethnic Swede, Caucasian and still a Swedish citizen by blood, but also a Chinese citizen but not Chinese or Asian.
So yes CZ you obviously are Chinese, always have and always will be.
