  1. Tell the truth ,,,,,,,,
North Sea gas is ours but thanks to the do gooders in this country who didn't like our gas silos as they ruined the landscape we now have to send our gas abroad to be stored and sent back to us at a price ,thanks to the do gooders in this country .when will the government tell the truth

  2. 3 weeks ago it was 45 a week, this week it was 69 that was just gas. We generally not using electricity and that’s around 10-12 a week. I built up credit over the summer so I’m protected just as long as it don’t get colder but chances are it won’t be enough it was 700 in credit and I think monthly costs are touching 320 a month with a dd set at 250.

  3. Putin should know The west is willing to suffer cost of living and Energy crisis and maybe fight WW3 for Ukraine's right to join NATO and reclaim the annexed breakaway republics that would not join the 2014 coup.

  4. LNG from US- at what costs? The guy said if gas stopped coming from Russia… I thought the whole point of sanctions is stop using gas/ oil from Russia. Have we been a bit hypocritical here? We need to stop relaying on cheap Russian supplies.

  5. Enough of showing it on the graph 📊. The guy in suite should go on the ground and show real plp footages Street by street house by house instead of staying warm in the studio & just chatting crap. Why sanctions Russia 1st place? Mr. Johnson said we are not dependent on Russian gas, so why we r in a mess?

  6. Firstly they don't mention anything about the tories getting rid of gas storage towers, closed office blocks and shops leave their lights on also the gas prices have fallen for companies making them a 6 billion profits while we pay more on our bills, tell the truth sky stop lying to us as the uk hasent had any gas from Russia since September this year

  7. I've always heard in the news that the uk was never dependant on european or Russian gas or oil ,and that we quite self sustainable but this seems very untrue,

  8. Wouldn't it have been nice for our politicians to think a little ahead for the past decade or so and build some resiliancy into our storage, transmission lines, heating and insulation systems? No, let's just spend a trillion on Brexiting, rah rah.

  9. Britain can have a form of power that is safe, clean, no waste, storable, and limitless, it is called TIDAL POWER. With seven thousand miles of coastline, the UK could generate as much electrical power that it needs. In areas like the Bristol channel alone, the amount of power that could be generated is estimated to provide up to 10% of UK requirements with many other potential sites around the coast to provide the electricity that would make the UK self-sufficient in power supply.

  10. The market is highly efficient which is why the UK pays the highest electricity prices in the world. Gas outflows to Europe in Spring/Summer and they store it. We closed our storage, recently re-opened though at low capacity. We import in winter. Some might call this stupid. Sounds like a cunning plan. It is all to make our energy companies highly profitable and compete on an international basis. In the recent past our banks had a TROCE of close to 20% whilst US banks managed on 5% or so. UK consumers are fleeced. Consider the council tax and business rates.

  11. If Putin is still selling oil and gas to the Western nations then Russia deserves to be destroyed with nuclear weapons launched by the West. The Northern Hemisphere is finished MEGA heatwaves forever and ever ☀️🌡️🔥🐵🌚🤠🇺🇲🐺🐷☠️💀⚰️🤣😭🤪😵😜😫😅👹😈👺

  12. UK is in dire need of a energy politics and not squable and bold talk . Where is the nuclear powder? Most homes in UK are in dire need to modernisation and proper insulation. Single brickwalls, two glas windows, flimsy doors are simply out of date. Look at Finlands building codes. The entire building industry in UK needs to be modernised and cost efficent.
