In what parallel universe does artificially manipulating interest constitute "Open Market Governance"? Freedom is Slavery man.
The interest rate usually needs to be higher than the inflation rate to kill inflation.
So if the interest rate will only be raised to 5.1%, then the inflation rate needs to move lower than 5.1%.
