It was never a crypto problem. It's was a central exchange problem. FTX was set up to do this from the beginning right along with Alameda. Decentralized exchanges are the way to go

Apparently he also syphoned money that was given in aid to the Ukraine back to the Democratic Party and I also agree with Ben Mckenzie that the whole crypto currency industry(I use that word very loosely) is a huge if not the biggest Ponzi Scheme ever as the product is based on absolutely nothing tangible.
Crypto is not a ponzi scheme. It is a means to finance a really integral part of the internet that goes unappreciated. Open source development. There is no difference in investing in stocks or crypto other then the fact that the government refuses to pass common sense regulations on it that treats bitcoin like the securities they are.
