    1. If Europe stands strong and doesn't cave in to Putin like Hungary & France want them to do, this will be the last winter that Russia can play games with Europe over oil & energy!

    2. Europe will never learn. Capping a commodity that you don’t possess will backfire like all the other sanctions. It’s causes inflation and shortages for them. Russia already has its own markets and their deals have already been made.

    3. Well, if Europe wants to put itself behind all the countries willing to pay more for LNG in the queue and are willing to buy less LNG, I suppose it will work out for them. Sellers will sell to people who will pay the most, and buyers will buy from those who sell for the least, that's the way the market has always worked. Anyone willing to pay a little more than the cap will get first dibs on all the LNG they want while Europe settles for the leftovers.

One correction to Joe's presentation. As far as I know, Countries like the USA and Qatar won't be making any decisions. Private corporations that do business in the USA and Qatar will make the decisions. It won't be a national decision, it will be corporate decisions. I certainly don't think the Republican House will do anything to restrain private companies from charging whatever they like.

    4. Sounds to me Europe needs to drill/frack their own shale or might go without. Higher bidders elsewhere and it will go to highest bidder. With massive bailouts they already received from the FED America since 2008 they are gonna get a bunch of pushback and freeze.
In a market you don't get to decide what you pay, the market does.

    5. Oil price cap is stupid and isn’t working and the proposed LNG price gap is equally stupid and will not work. Who are the idiots behind this stupidity 😂

    6. Sync well with the ruzzians blowing up yet another of their own gas pipelines today. This time on dry land, well inside ruzzia. I guess it was a protest against this price cap. "Look, phwxers, we don't need the gas sale, we blown up our own stuff and don't we care!".

    7. lolol good luck to the EU getting Gas and oil from Russia. Russia has plenty of places to sell oil and gas and no way in hell China is signing the cap price for oil and will buy all the oil of Russia XD

    8. The cap seems like a bad idea. But isn’t there a problem for suppliers if they gotta shut down a gas well if they can’t sell? The EU does not have a monopoly on demand but it is a significant consumer. I don’t see them being able to enforce the cap. But maybe able to haggle down some costs by agreeing to some long term buying in large volume???

    9. I have 24, 16 Ounce Steel Propane Canisters I'll sell you for $20 each.
      Postage not included.
      Problem Solved.
It's about 50 Times higher than Price Cap but it's really real.
Fictional LNG doesn't work so good. Got Gas?

    10. IMO Europe should have to pay the price for becoming overly dependent on Russian gas and gas in general. The American military has been warning them for a long time that this very situation this Russia would eventually happen and their dependence would cripple them.

    11. only 1:28 in and who else is thinking its not "the whole world" overcharging Europe, it's the US – our so called "ally" – that is milking Europe for as much as they can get away with.

    12. This is nothing more than the EU making it difficult to move oil and gas but Russia will manage without the european market while Europe will be held to ransome by other producers, it's a lose lose situation for the EU and very bad news for the consumer. It's why I voted to leave the EU the commission thinks it runs the world when in actual fact it couldn't run a bath.

    13. Like it or not.. russia still have many "friends" in asia..
Russia n friends are not afraid of NATO n America sanctions.. first or second..👈🤣🤣
So the "one side" war in ukraine will last for more then 2 years.. depend on if china invade Taiwan or not..👈🤪🤪

    14. Well this cap may be hard to be implement but I think it is necessary. There's no reason why all low to medium income families and households to suffer the brunt of the inflation leaving big oil and gas along with their shareholders to see record profits from it. We're doomed if we can help those who need it.

    15. It will work. The USA is an ally, and the rest will have no choice. An economic disaster in the west will drag the rest of the world along with it. This will work out.
