I wish yall let Morgen talk more she seems much more knowlegdable than Pierre on certain aspects and it felt like was was ignored for solid 17 minutes. Also when she finally made her point about GBTC holy crap Pierre didn't look supportive at all. I wish this was more of a conversation between all 3

Its not the transfer from BTC to fiat that is wasteful. It is having to convert BTC at all. I don't want to "spend" my BTC. I would rather leverage it into USDC, use it and convert the leftover back because I would rather hold an increasing fixed, scarce asset that a diminishing one like fiat dollars. SO the conversion is needed to preserve store of value.
I think inflations is causing the current situation we already have now, increments in the price of gas,and rate of unemployment is becoming inconducive. It's obvious we are headed for hyperinflation ,unfortunately having a job doesn't mean been safe rather having multiple income streams that doesn't depend on the government would be a great decision.This is still a good time to invest in gold, silver and digital currencies (BTC, ETH…)
Pierre what do you think about Money on Chain defi on the RSK side chain and it's stablecoin backed by Bitcoin called Dollar on Chain $DOC?

Guys, it's nice you educate and cover this stuff but with all the complexity and security risks and fraud you point out it should be obvious that all these layers have been added because we don't have sound money we can trust anymore. Cash is perfect fungibility and anonymity so we should go for a cash substitute instead of a digital asset which is always going to be vulnerable and easily manipulated. Gold is great for a store of value but not fungibility so I would look to that for the bulk of wealth. We need local cash/scrip currencies for daily drivers. BTC is best but I don't think it's going to fly and I have a real problem not knowing who this Satoshi is. Anyhow, just my 2 golden cents.
