    1. First, it's called farming and not mining. Second I've got 440tb of drive and I'm making 10-12 Chia a month. No way you will be even close to 2 Chia a month with the starter kit. Hard core chilling on this on.

    2. Alexa, Great job! like the way you sound now from when you first started. Did you change microphones? Anyway, that was good what I heard you do the other day on line. Merry Christmas to you and I wear my new Vosk Green T shirt often. 🙂 This sounds pretty good. My pension is reduced about $30 bucks a month now so I'd like to make $60 bucks enough passive income. This might be the answer. Thought Helium was going to work but I'm making less than .35 cents a day on two HNT miners:) Thanks for the review.

    3. when you mine crypto, the hardware is safely stored in your house, those crypto scammers must break into your house to steal the hardware, and later sell it to make money…..when you buy tokens, those crypto scammers don;t have to do anything,….you can't even use the scam token as a paperweight

    4. Bro that ROI is absolute trash. First of all, $1.58 a day is not 60 dollars a month, so the video title is already incorrect. You said yourself in the beginning of the video it would use about 10 dollars of electricity a month. Thats only about 48 dollars a month, not including electricity. I don't know if this company is paying you to promote this trash, but that's like A 7-8 year ROI on that $3,000 setup. Best of luck, I think I'll sit this one out.

    5. Hey vosk. Long time fan and chia farmer. Can I talk to you privately? I see some possible shortcomings with this setup.

      Some questions are:
Did the drives come pre-plotted? Where do you get the plots?

What kind of storage is the pi using and how big is the storage drive and what chia client version? You definitely want a new enough version where it will have the database compression. The database is massive. I would hate to see you run out of space or have it fail because it's a cheap sd card.

Are you aware of the dust storms? They have found that during a dust storm, the pi farmers don't have the processing power to keep up. So you will have trouble submitting proofs in time. That might explain why yours goes down occasionally, and you have to restart.

I have some more quality questions. I would love to help you avoid some possible pitfalls instead of learning the hard way.

I love your videos. I hope I can help!

    6. With 4 years to break even how long do these hard drives last because the average is 3-5 years. Can you change out the hard drive or can you swap it for a SSD?

    7. Do some research. Chia coin has gone from $1,600 to 30. Next is the hard drive. Normally they last for 10 years or so but typical proof of space mining cuts the life down to about 80 Days. People have been unloading these burnt hard drives as new all over the place trying to recoup their loss.

    8. At least this is simple enough I can use my Ryzen 9 3900X that's doing nothing with my old 8tb nas to see if it's worth the time to setup after a few weeks. I wouldn't mind getting a few large drives if it works out.
