  2. Crypto flop is just a symptom of sick economy. Buisness owners enjoyed record profit too long. Those record profits were at cost of normal workers who suffered a lot. One can withstand suffering only this much thus revolt had to be. Just look at 60 or 70 proportion of profits to salaries. Owners were not that greedy.

  3. I’m back tracking GPUs and they are getting cheap again. I’m even looking at other GPUs as well, I think the Titan RTX and Titan V are awesome deals (used) if you do more workstation tasks. The RTX 3070s are the best price to performance at the moment in the used market.

  4. I think that there have just been a ton more 1650s going onto the market more than anything. I would guess that a lot of lower end gaming laptops and prebuilts are using 1650s and the holidays are coming around so people are buying them

  5. I picked up a 6700xt after shipping and tax for $290 on enay for a friend and Ive been using it in my rig I may just keep it its an awesome card for the money.

  6. Come on, Intel got something new on the market. First try on the discreet GPU market i think even with the driver problems it's still a good card. Why is every one judging Intel and AMD together. AMD makes GPU'S for how many years? πŸ˜„

  7. just as well i didn't win the last 4 actions i entered if i can get a better price on something used . currently they all asking too much still for my liking on a used item plus how old most them gpus are now

  8. I have to say that I'm very surprised with how the market currently is. There was supposed to have been many used gpu floods from the miners but there's been nothing. RTX 3080's for example have gone up in price and never really went below msrp. How is this possible? Is Nvidia buying all the used GPU's and repackaging them as new or something? (joking)

  9. 12:34 Those surveys are based on users of steam who willfully accepted to participate. There is no telemetry. It's a one time event when Steam will ask you to scan the PC and share it. It's especially unreliable for VR, as it only detects CONNECTED hardware.

  10. I think gpu miners are hedging by keeping their gpus in hope for better times. Selling them is just boring "real" work and if crypto goes up it's currently to expensive to rebuy gpus. Add to that most of them are addicted to gpu mining and it will take some time before they recover and realize it's time to let go of all their dusty sweaty gpus.

  11. 21:20 As a developer I can clearly tell, that VRAM is the key to load all the fancy 4K textures. 1080Ti had 11Gb. It was a huge issue for 20th and 30th gen cause it was assumed 80s cards will have at least the same amount. And many games will suffer cause of lack VRAM. If the VRAM full, CPU will cache data in RAM, and the bandwidth there is nowhere near the VRAM. That causes longer drawcalls that leads to lower FPS.
Main task of a game developer is to hack the lack of power to make it work and still look nice (well, and ofc to make an interesting game). Even AAA fails in it, and they have huge teams. This is the reason why Indie Dev often stick to "low poly" or stylized look. Paradoxically, while UE5 with Nanite promises BILLIONS of triangles to be rendered faster, it requires even more VRAM to store it (cause of sheer size of the geometry and textures).

  12. 6900xt: $641,75
    7900xt: $1090,97
    7900xtx: $1283,49
At this point i'm a believer amd actually wants people over here to buy their previous gen.

  13. Used isn't the best choice but with recent prices it wasn't bad next time you buy new double check the return policy before you submit your payment microcenter screwed me also my fault for trusting them luckily I purchased the store warranty unfortunately I wasted it on a motherboard that shouldn't of been on the shelf

  14. Maybe in Aussie land these are crashing but here in North America it's not seeing any of these prices 3080Ti's and 3090's are still $2000+ if lucky may find a 3080Ti for $1190-$1500 but it's nice to see at least over there prices are falling as everything is super $$$$$ compared to everywhere else.

  15. I never trusted, specially I remember when bitcoin came out early, I asked one vendor about PNL paper. He talked me around then I knew, its was a Ponzi scheme. People around me said, invest in Crypto, Crypto is safe and jadajada…I said no, because if I invested in something, I always asking the questions. But bet on Silver, Gold, Uranium and Platinum. Specially Silver, will go up (if I did my math right) can go up to 50% in 2023.

  16. I sold my 1060 when the market was high cause I knew it would fall eventually and the card would be worth half or less, little over $200 somone paid for my 1060

  17. my only option for a 4080 in my ghost s1 is one with a waterblock preinstalled, which im happy to buy, but i don't think they are as reselable on the used market as most people picking up a second hand gpu i suspect will want one with an air cooler, i guess i just wont look to sell it when im done with it not that that will hapen any time soon
