I don't own paper gold. I have a couple of BU gold coins. Have a bunch more BU silver coins. Not sure how useful they will be – the sales taxes and premiums discourage trading. If people go AWOL mentally when TSHTF then we are screwed anyway. That is the time to pull together. Community will be paramount. There will be bullies with guns I imagine – best to avoid them. I don't trust banks and the MSM regarding the utility of crypto. The behavior of markets suggest BTC the best to hodl. I sometimes feel I should become a node in the bitcoin network (or rather own a computer that does that) to "do my bit" and/or a low grade miner with a HeatBit and solar array.

Dan, I agree crypto looks like a security, but by following the SEC vs Ripple/XRP case I have learned that most crypto is NOT a security. Dan you have to admit you are not a security lawyer. My second point is if we do like you say we should do & capitulate with the SEC, the SEC rules do not work with crypto especially Defi or anything decentralized. The SEC rules make it impossible to follow the securities rules by crypto & the SEC has made no attempt to change or make certain exceptions for crytpo & unless you are a child, the SEC is doing that on purpose for their banker buddies in order to control take over the crypto market & have Cefi take over crypto 100%.
