Atari has been a troubled company for years now, but it’s found its savior… and it’s not even a video game. It’s… cryptocurrency. Yay?

Can we get a better co-host then that guy? I can't find anything I like about him… I enjoy watching "The Know" Video's but that guy just rubs me the wrong way… Anyone else feeling that way? Also I'm glad I got my Video card before this all went nuts! I love my 1080Ti!
You guys sounded ignorant in this video.
"It doesn't mean anything if a bunch of people don't agree that it means something." So like literally any currency ever
These companies are like bell ringers at a talent show, they win support for just being special.
Very nice piece! I don't usually share, but did this time.
LOL to Atari though!
Microsoft Balance, Nintendo eShop Balance, Steam Wallet, Blizzard Balance, PSN Account Balance – plenty of already existing examples of lock-in e-Currencies that can only be used in a specific way. Unless Atari's cryptocurrency can be traded and converted back into US dollars, it's not really any different.
Ironically, this video will ultimately be looked at as clueless. I have been involved in tech since the early 90's and everything they complained was a fad are now common items or ways of doing things. Full disclosure, I also currently work in the blockchain space and just so "know", all cryptocurrency does not have to do with bitcoin.
Nice t-shirts !
it is worth 50 bars or Gold Pressed Latinum.
Hope this doesn’t crash the market like in the 20s
i don't understand how it can be stolen. if it is all traceable. wouldn't they be able to find the stolen currency as soon as some one attempted to spend it?
I have a feeling that this mindless blockchain obsession is going to cause the next economic crash.
Small. Hands.
Atari doesn't exist anymore. It's just some company that bought the name. (Literally)
"Come and pay Atari today!"
Atari r the reason why the gaming industry almost went extinct! Nintendo saved the gaming industry.
I couldn’t focus… this old dude next to Ashley looked way older by comparison. Like putting a freshly picked peach next to 2 week old orange peels. 😒
Atari coin ? Go back under the dirt and rocks in new mexico
Ashley, did you hear the news about Warcraft III? A ton of national and international pro-players have been invited by Blizzard to a private event — speculation is that it's Warcraft III Remastered, and that an announcement is coming next month or so.
crap. With everyone going into blockchain, i'm NEVER getting a decently priced graphics card…
It makes me wonder if Toys R Us is going to do the same thing.
Please stop with this cripto currency please. It's non sence. If you want to help a currency then do it with normal currency's like the Canadian dolor.
didn't kodak go bankrupt years ago
Is this the alternate dimension where I’ve been living under a ro-? Yes!
0:35 Kodak is doing it too.
A unit that only has value bc people agree it has value. Why does that sound so familiar?…..
Oh yeah. That how all currencies work
When they say token, they are probably refering to an etherium token. This does not mean it is backed by aetherium. This means it uses the etherium blockchain to function. Anyone can do this. A 14 year old kid in their basement could do this. It is worth nothing at all. It also has no functionality unless a useful business model is applied. However, I guarantee that Atari can't achieve anything with this. So stupid.
