On Jocko's 1st point…that way of thinking is cultivated…we need to nurture that part of society that isn't some sort of attack drone, shooting down every single thing that doesn't align with its current established viewpoint.

Jocks is illogical. How does anyone think he won the argument? He’s basing an assumption that because Russia invaded another country they therefore have expansionists agenda then how does he justify saying the US does not considering how many countries the US has invaded?? He’s trying to base America’s current agenda on things that happened two generations ago. different people were in leadership back then. When the US invaded Germany in WW2 were they trying to expand? Russia has 3 bases worldwide and the US over 100. Who looks like they wanna control the world? Honestly the situation bears some resemblance to the Cuban missile crisis – but in reverse. The US threatened to escalate to World War III because Russia placed weapons near the US border but noo Russia could have no other motivations other than trying to conquer the world🙄
The United States did take over a lot and just because they don't put their name on it today doesn't mean they aren't controlling other countries governments.
And maybe it's not about America but about one global power.
The us did have expansionist policies. Japan was nurtured while being neutered and controlled. Germany is still occupied and totally puppety.
Germany were mistreated after WW1 massively. They also didn't accept defeat because Jews organised the German revolution and protests in 1918 which stopped many Germans from enlisting for the war so Germany couldn't cover their losses the way the Allies did and Americans were arriving quickly so Germany had no choice but to surrender.

Take Japan, write for them a peaceful constitution, but station fifty thousand troops, Japan would in-fact be the front line inna war against China and Russia. Took South Korea. Even tried to take Tibet. Have a look on a map how big Tibet is. Taiwan was occupied by America in the middle of the Chinese civil war. America N admits that there is a "One China" (Not Nationalists China in Taiwan and Communist in Mainland) but refuses to give it back. Occupying Korea was the worst. They were the victims of Japan. It shouldnt have been divided by the victors. It should be independent and free! Under ANY government. That goes for every Nation

I think that confusing point in ths story is that usa is not really looking for taking the world – and it's true – they just don't go and sieze the countries(middle east is complicated – they wanted to help everybody;), but what's funny it seems like usa just playing games. How many times can we poke Russia untill they get pissed? What do they do? Will they accept usa involvment in russian deals (like europe and others) in the end? How long they gonna be stuborn? Do they dare to play darts with nukes?(I guess usa don't think russia do, I don't think they would have been that confident otherwise, usa still figuring this out though). Technically Jocko is correct, but on the other hand usa is still looking for involvement and expansion of it's involvement everywhere for money and political reasons, so that's why we can say usa has imperialistic tendencies. About japan – usa nurtured it back to live cos usa didn't think it will ever become anti-american ever again, those particular people learn their lessons very well, and in ww2 they didn't have it in mind really, I mean to become superpower – they just made an efford to become one, to catch up with big brothers;) They just jumped on train in hurry in hope this turmoil will turn out great for them, very unluckily though. So usa is just like a big bully around,- if you're not with it – u re against it and the bullies like to play dirty you know… But anyways! What a great time to be alive! History is being written right before our eyes! Will globalists grow adult finally? Or will they still continue to push the stubborn kids who just still won't play their games? He's a military man so I understand the ideology and desire to be loyal to the state as representative of the people, BUT it's just a blatant lie to try and assert that the US isnt founded in and motivated by expansionist ideals and aims. The state doesnt at all represent it's people, either. We all know it's deeply corrupt, even rotten to the core, and representative of incredibly powerful corporate interests. Come on Jocko, you're a jar head, not a meat head or a puppet!
People shut down on what they hear because the media says one thing and then says the other, well that's what people say. But, the real problem is that with subpar education, people don't know how to do their own research and don't understand their values, don't know history, etc. Not knowing what to believe is the dumbest thing to hear. The whole idea is to get your priorities straight and do your own research and listen to all sides. Know that the media is owned by the oil companies. Study history. Listen to people that don't have an agenda. I really liked Sachs. I can listen to him, because he bases his knowledge on economics and has an educated view.

America was different back in the 40's and WWII era. People have changed and not for the better. A lot has to do with moral decline and the lack of honesty and integrity and the growth of greed and lust for power. There is very little humility and too much ego's today. People used to love thy neighbor but not so much today. There was a sense of doing what was right whereas it is more of how much can I get away with. Also, the growing division between the right vs the left. All have moved to the left and now the far left is in another realm other than reality.

They have hundreds of military bases around the world, installed coups in many countries, invaded many countries, The US has strong influence in almost every country so I would say yes the US is into expansionism.

The U.S. does not have to bring in Gung Ho Navy Seals or any kind of new drone to blow up a (that) pipeline. The answer is (could be): MK67 SLMM Submarine Launched Mobile Mine. According to reports of the investigation of the debris, it was very likely a seamine. It was also very loud with a lot of power. Who ever blown up the pipeline wanted that everybody is aware of that.
