Hindsight is a wonderful thing and my 7 years buying gold and silver has given me a lot of interesting experience to draw upon. The problem with investing in gold and silver right now is that the market is very daunting. So much choice. So today I share what I would do if I had nothing right now and what my best picks would be for gold or silver or both. Of course, these are just my opinions and not financial advice so please bare that in mind when making your own decisions!

    1. I'm loving the selection on the table. I just got myself two more 2.5 pesos coins today and I saw these credit card sized silver bars that were 1 oz each and they come with their own little sleeve and certificate of authenticity and I'm thinking about buying one to put my wallet to go with the assay gold bar I keep hiding in my front pocket trigger wallet

    2. My thoughts exactly on strategy , has been for a while .. just wondering .. how close did that 1k bar come to putting a dent in that sovereign … think I would have sworn myself tbh … is there any damage ? 😱

    3. I have to say I bought some poured rounds from you and they are amazing. You truly have some quality silver. Great advice as always. Happy new year and wishing you and your family the best year ever!

    4. Hi,

Fairly new to stacking but I invested in gold and silver throughout 2022 after watching your videos, so thank you! I’ve been moving more away from silver and more into gold lately, I really do want more of the fractional sizes, 1/10 & 1/4 ounces. I have some sovereigns (new and old) what do you think is the better option, sovereigns or Britannia fractions as mentioned?

      HNY!

    5. I've never converted gold from one type to another but I get it, if you don't find your stack a pleasure then it is a soulless enterprise and you may as well have bought bonds instead.

    6. I have a bullion equivalent of your britannia charioteer and a half oz proof version and they are in the tops of my favourites.
For this year 2023 virtually all sovereigns, unless something really special becomes available.
Last year I switched out 1oz QB for sovereigns and acquired 5 victorian shield back sovereigns plus 2 × 2005 QE2 Golden anniversary sovereigns as well.
So on this occasion I'm ahead, time wise on Mr BYB.

    7. my goal is to get a couple of sovereigns too, i'll get my usual allocation of a tube of britannias, then concentate on the gold shiny stuff. just wish this cost of living drama would end soon so i can get more.

    8. Sovereigns are on the table for me too this year. Even though I'm across the pond I think they are an exceptional buy in today's market! But I'm going to try to liquidate some of my silver for gold. Storage issues!

    9. Been collecting sovereigns and Britannias , the sovereigns were just a mixture 1914 to modern day. Visited local coin shop and ended up buying a nice 1872 shield back sovereign. Cost a bit more than standard bullion but dealer thought would keep more of its value is spot price went down , not something I’d thought about before ! Keep on rambling 👍😆

    10. You have convinced me to solely buy sovereigns. Going to buy 1 everytime I get paid. I'm done with silver. Would you always go with the cheapest option even if they say the condition is not good?

    11. Not buying much this year have what i need, want to make up to one hundred Sov's have round about eighty five-ish Sov's also going to be very very picky on the proofs from RM, continuing with 2oz & 5oz british monarch series silver and tudor series in silver also may by the odd this and that in gold & silver.

    12. Great video and information as always. Ive been trying to source silver shot but dont want to use ebay. Where do you source it from buddy or where do you suggest.
