Ichigo-Ichie: Life Logging and Exposure Notification | Akihiro Fujihara | TEDxDejimaStudio



Ichigo-Ichie is a Japanese word meaning “once in a lifetime.” This is the starting point of Akihiro Fujihara’s research project for life logging. He explains how people meet others in their life and how it is like Ichigo-Ichie. His research has been expanded to exposure notification apps under the COVID-19 pandemic. Akihiro Fujihara is a full professor at Chiba Institute of Technology. He is majored in Communication Engineering, Applied Mathematics and Statistics. His research interests are blockchain technologies and its applications, generation of stochastic models using reinforcement learning, disaster-resilient route guidance methods, and statistical properties on human mobility and contacts.
