Bitcoin mining is incredibly lucrative if you have cheap electricity or you are generating your own which is where using solar panels to power your Bitcoin miners becomes really interesting and one of the best ways to earn passive income in 2023. More people than ever are installing solar panels, and a lot of solar users, are ending up with a surplus in generated electricity, so instead of letting that go to waste people with solar panels installed on their home should turn that electricity into money, with a Bitcoin mining rig like the Bitmain Antminer S19 we are using in this example. Here is everything you need to know on how many solar panels do you need to mine bitcoin, and what else goes into powering your BTC ASIC miners with solar energy!

    1. Only problem I see here… the solar numbers are using industry installer pricing, which is way too expensive. I have several sub 5k systems full cost less than two thousand including batteries. So building it yourself gives much less input cost for startups.

    2. There are so many coins like Kadena that are superior to Bitcoin; the only reason people still promote BTC is that they are invested in it.

When crypto is widely used for apps, BTC will collapse. Until then, it will remain the king of speculation.

    3. You need to do more research on solar electricity. If solar power is a good thing then why aren't there more people using it?? What about where how many batteries do you need and where are they stored?? I think your solar farm is a great adventure but there is the trust of crypto exchanges to deal with. So to invest $30-600k will be a hard pill to swallow.

    4. I installed my own 15Kw solar system for about $20K. I could have reduced that price by using a cheaper inverter–I bought the Sol Ark 12K. When you're pricing out solar panels, if you can buy them for around $.50 per watt then that's a good price. A lot of installers want to sell the customer the high end panels–they're just not worth the price.

    5. If you’re buying all this at a loss assuming the price of BTC will go up, you may as well just take that money and buy and hold BTC🤷🏻‍♂️

    6. I honestly believe we will have to wave by to solar and go Nuclear, but the government might get involved then. But building a mini nuclear power plant might put out more KW's than 34 solar panels. But then there might be issues with inspections and public safety. Just brain storming!!!!!! MAY BAD IDEA !!!!!!!

    7. @VoskCoin: you should also consider wind turbines for your mining farm, or you could look into mini wind turbines the one's I've seen generate 5000 kwh per hour. So if you put four of those on each four panel grid you would generate 20kwh per four panel grid per day on a windy day. If you have 10 four panel grids your making 200,000 kwh on a good day. Anyway that's my idea. You do you your fan D.B.Knightshade

    8. I wanted to do this back in 2017 but was never allowed to… Literally. The only way to stop me and sabotage me, is to cheat – how pathetic they truly are. Proper losers.

    9. Seems like solar is a giant waste when you could just rely on the grid for several bear market cycles and then have the capitol to not expand with more rigs but far more efficient panels in 8 yrs
