In this video I talk about silver investing and gold investing. I talk about the prices of silver dropping as well as the price of gold dropping and what that means for my own stacking strategy and how much silver and gold I want to buy and invest in.

    1. My question for The RM: When are you going to address the serious milk spotting issue on your silver coins?

      And…

When do we get the presentation case for the Tudor Beast series?

    2. find out when the next tudor beast is coming also royal arms , also does the valient come out each yr, i want it i want it i want it i want it i want it i want it i want it

    3. Ask the royal mint why they have not bothered to introduce a Canadian style mint shield to their silver. It's the one thing that puts me off buying britannias at the moment.

    4. I think silver may also be a good metal to hold when times are good, gold on the hand seems to do better when times are bad. It is nice to have both as part of a wider portfolio.

    5. I never cared about money. Never saved any of it. Just spent it as fast as I could.
Then I fell in love with silver. Now I know why I did that. Money isn't real! Never was! Silver is! 🤩

    6. I could care less what the price is in US dollars. It's gone down about 60 quid from it's record high in Sterling terms. That's not much of a fall in the great scheme of things. Strange how there are no vids when it hit an all-time high of £1592 last week.

    7. I'm waiting for 1/2 ounce gold Charlies to become available and they will be the last of it for me – my portfolio is well distributed now. I reckon PMs will go down so long as the futures guys are shorting them… until reality bites. Then, I think they will rise. Think Nike tick.

    8. Its extremely to hard to get for me either the pawnshop hates to sell any and now my online app i buy from individuals says no bouyin can be sold and im sure the next way i find they’ll be a gimmick to where either you cant find it and if you can your gonna pay way more then spot

    9. Most of the reasons for stacking remain in place, and the trend continues to reinforce that very obviously since 2008. Higher and rising national debt? Yup. Increased global instability higher and rising? Yup. Increasing monetary instability? Yup. Will gold and silver be the chosen alternative comes down to the stacking choice originally made imo. But the thesis for stacking has not changed imo.

    10. I think the premiums due to inflation take the opportunity to compensate for lower commodity prices.
I feel, as time goes by, desirable pieces are becoming scarcer to acquire.
Currently it's the sovereign dates that are priced too high at Chards of Blackpool, having stated that, Bullion by Post are even dearer.
In my opinion sub £400 for a sovereign is a touch too expensive, but ok if the dates are on my acquisition list.
Like Mr BYB it's sitting on one's hands seem to be the way to wait.

    11. I want to get a few more ounces, but not doing it right now. I've bought way too much over the past 2 months every time it dropped. Waiting until next month to see if the Fed raises rates again, and spot will probably fall again.

    12. Hope you have a good time at the Royal Mint! I would ask them why their website is so crap (e.g. the filters on any given page never display or function properly) and why they don't have real pics of their products instead of just CG ones.

    13. Just when I thought I was a lone ranger, I find someone with the same mind set. I've been on hold for some time. I just don't think it's time to back the truck up.

    14. Price drop ? Two weeks ? two days maybe!
I have many questions you could ask the R.M but here's a question that I feel most people want to know…
Why , can they not add a little silver to the copper , or just as with early Britannia's have the rest with silver .. to make the colour like early Sovereigns ? the tiny fraction of price between the two metals (copper &silver) would make no real difference … but the Sovereigns would then look like gold… and they may even sell more! it's a win, win for everybody .. surely ..

    15. I shall continue buying gold little and often. Cost averaging will continue to minimise risk regardless of market swings if bought for the long term. My feeling is dealers will retain higher premiums if costs drop so not sure how much of a saving will be made if we ‘wait for the drop’

    16. I have a question for the Royal mint. Q: Why do new sovereigns and old sovereigns have such an obvious difference in hue/color when they are both the same metal composition?

    17. Only fools and charlatans pretend they can predict the future and I, sir, am no charlatan!
Then I think, "But Ukraine will get REAL ugly this spring after mud season, media might start covering the growing global fertilizer problems if they think they can get some famine panic views out of it, any of that might spike the price for a few months like it did last year. Maybe I should get just ooooonnnee….."
