This video is an advertisement not a technical explanation of why Casper is better than what already exists. I would classify Casper as a scam at this point. The fact that US citizens can not buy Casper also indicates that it is a scam.
I bought a bag of CSPR, have been hearing positive news on the overall scheme with Casper fitting into the new system of chains along with many ISO 20022 compliant projects.. there's way more going on than just picking some attractive projects and hoping for the best. huge things are being built out right now.

When it mentions that most blockchains rely on proof of work (POW) algorithm it's simply not true. It's the minority of blockchains that still uses POW algorithm.
