The winter in Europe is here. While dropping temperatures may be a pleasant sight for some, it is an SOS for the European leadership. The energy deficit has been persisting for months. The bloc seemed keen on going down the rationing route and looked confident of countries voluntarily saving 10-15% of their original gas consumption. But that hasn’t quelled any concerns. The fact remains that Europe is yet to recover from Russian gas cuts.

    Russian LNG is already SOLD OUT, and there are already reservations for the LNG future outputs. The green energy peoples of e.u. SHOULD BE VERY HAPPY, and they should SPEARHEAD living outside their houses into the green icy wintry outdoors.

    I once did something as daft as this in school. There was a odd boy whose cousin i fancied. He got bullied a lot so I thought I'd impress his cousin by standing up for him when she was there. I punched the fat oaf bullying him in the stomach. Feeling like a hero I get talking to them and typical, the cousin is a lesbian. Only finding fatso and two of his mates waiting outside the school gates hurt more. Moral of the story, find out if it's worth it first.

    That's their problems, Russian has the right to sell their exports to who they want at what prices they want. Europe has the world economic forum and united Nation to thank, don't blame Russian

    Well said, but it’s a double edged sword. Russia won’t find it easy either. The sanctions is just begging to bite.
    Even during the Cold War with the west, the Soviet Union was reliable for grain and energy supplies to the west. Now Putin has destroyed the reliability of the west to Russia and it will take years for trust to be restored.
    Yes it’s going to be a hash winter for the Europeans, but sooner or later they will find a solution to their energy shortages. Putin has always had his way for long. It’s better for the Europeans to avoid him in spite of all the energy crisis. Putin won’t also fine it easy, imagine the billions he has lost due to Europe cutting off their energy supplies from Russia.
    A very senseless and unnecessary war.

    its not the about "Ukraine" getting into dialogue with Russia to end the war.. its was about NATO's Stupid urge for expansion that caused the war. The question shud be "will NATO surrender in the face of Russian demands and can Russia trust NATO not to attack Russia lets say in two or three years once they have replaced Russian gas?" unfortunately, I don't see the war ending anytime soon.

    It doesnt matter whether the US want to end a war or not. As long as NATO threat exists, Russia doesnt accept their peace talk crap. NATO is the root problem that pisses Russia off.

    For months they are predicting the collapse of Europe. I ‘ve got the feeling they underestimate the resilience of europeans. Europeans understand that Putin behaves like a bully that has to be stopped. Which countrie will be next? Moldavia, Finland? Putin doesn’t care about russians in Donbass. He only cares about coal and gas and his big ego. Man with big ego never end well.
