During the military exercise in the Baltic there must have been numerous NATO destroyers with high quality sonar sailing around. For sure some of the captains of these ships must have picked up underwater activity even if it was attempting to be stealth. Hopefully in the course of time some junior officer will leak details. There must have been quite a few people involved in an exercise like this and it will eventually be leaked but by then the news story will have moved on. Hopefully not to some nuclear incident.
I already saw a couple of interview with Hersh about his report but this interview was the most interesting one as it directly addresses what most people are asking themselves: how we can be sure the report is based on facts

I think its about time to have the discussion on the effects of the summer arctic shipping route, more or less controlled by Russia, which cuts shipping time between Bejing and Rotterdam from 44 days via the Suez to 18 via the summer arctic route. This shipping route combined with cheap Russian energy and other raw materials, means that China and Germany will be drawn closer together economically and will be in the future a powerhouse to compete with the US and providing the Euro hold together will threaten the US dollar.
Now that trade between Russia and Germany (at least for the seeable future) has been cut, the whole cohesion of the EU and the Eurozone is threatened. Was this the US plan all along?
