I shut off the heater and bought electric heaters. We also have the fireplace going and installed solar panels. We keep everything electric and stay away from gas. Which is a highly unpredictable market commodity. Often affiliated with political incentives and unexplained inflation with price gouging intentions against the public. Forgot about gas ⛽
I invested in solar to lower my PG&E bill and my electric portion went down just in time for the gas to go sky high🤬🤬🤬PG&E needs o be INVESTIGATED!

Because California government and utilities are fully against using gas energy and will do whatever it takes to get people off of it. They want us 100% dependent on electricity.

Why are we importing gas into California when we live on an absolutely massive easy to access. Natural gas field? Most of the San Joaquin valley and Southern California for that matter are full of largely untapped fields.

They want natural gas, furnaces, water heaters and stoves gone. It's being phased out due to them wanting everything electric to get rid of fossil fuels and global warming
PG&E wagging the dog while running fast on stock buybacks and not improving any of it's infrastructure. PG&E need to be closed and the whole thing restructured.

Close the Heat venting in the rooms that you are not using and use less rooms and heat less rooms during your brief cold.. don't eat the whole house and just use one room and that will make your bill go down. 68 down to 67 isn't going to make any difference. And if no one is in the house turn it down to 55 degrees. If you're going to be away from the house for a long time turn it down to an even lower temperature.
Send natural gas to Europe means higher prices at home.
