This is a question that we have had for a while, could you actually mine Cryptocurrency on Starlink, given the pings and overcast, will it create a situation of orphan & stale shares? In this first test, we let it run for 2 hours on a L7, Bitmain ASIC mining Litecoin/Dogecoin as for a bit of irony for Elon Musk; of’course we try a S19JPro and a 8x GPU mining Rig in the same process. ALL of which work flawlessly, no stale or orphaned shares, even with the 90ms pings with the overcast day.

    1. Starlink 2.0 will be even better, when the laser satellites are deployed that can send a signal around the world w/o going back to the ground first.

    2. I've been ASIC mining ETH/ETC on Starlink w/o any issues. I get between 20-90ms ping times. The only issues I get sometimes is when I get obstructed or no signal from the satellites.

    3. Currently using Starlink. As my primary with a dual wan router. Currently have DSL as my backup. The issue I'm having is when Starlink goes down. It's still sending a network connection to the duel wan router preventing it from switching over to the DSL. So I have the option of running my mining hardware on DSL with the Starlink as the backup or I can use load balancing. But overall, not really having any issues with downtime using Starlink.

    4. I’ve been mining eth on flexpool with Starlink for a few months. I get connection drops around midnight every week or so for a few minutes when a firmware paste is happening. It’s been pretty stable.

    5. Even with the current dip in crypto, I still thank you for the level-headed financial advice. I started stock and crypto investment with $4,345 and since following you for few weeks now, I’ve gotten $18,539 in my portfolio. Thanks so much Mrs. Payton Brooks
