Having destroyed large parts of the planet extracting oil and gas, mankind will now destroy the rest searching and extracting minerals.
There is hope that more common minerals can be used in place of the rare earth. Iron nitride looks promising as an alternative to rare earth permanent magnets. Both sodium, aluminium and carbon maybe alternatives for lithium and cobalt for batteries.
When you watch this video you understand why without being implicated in the global economy ,no country can prosper nowadays.Being in a strong union has tremendous advantages.
How will they harvest these materials without digging or drilling into the earth? Will the Greens permit this?
