The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) on Monday rejected Russia’s resolution calling for an independent inquiry into last year’s sabotage of the Nord Stream gas pipelines. Three UNSC members, namely Russia, China and Brazil, voted yes for the resolution, while the remaining 12 members abstained from voting. As per AFP the resolution called for the creation of a commission to “conduct a comprehensive, transparent and impartial international investigation of all aspects of the act of sabotage on the Nord Stream 1 and 2 gas pipelines, including identification of its perpetrators, sponsors, organisers and accomplices.”

    1. It has come up that under the WEF, Olaf Scholz is a party to the attack on the Nord Stream Pipeline.
Can't post link, but video title is: Did CIA arm-twist Olaf Scholz

    2. Russia did it and now it's framing another crook, the US, freeing itself from having to honor its contract with Europe, and avoid severe penalties in the tens of billions. Well played, Vladimir!

    3. Seymour hersch’s report was debunked immediately it came out. Planes he said flew over, didn’t even exist. Divers done the job in two hours he said when at that depth they would need at least 6 hours decompression in stages. Utter lies.

    4. Russia is definitely against double standards. So I'm sure there won't be mad about paying for all the damages they did it to Ukraine. 😂

    5. I think there's a need for Russia, China, India and other BRICS countries to take leadership to form another version of UN and leave the current UN to the US and Europeans

    6. Point here is this…

Putin illegally invaded a sovereign nation with the intent to rule it for himself. His troops have raped young girls, and old ladies, tortured thousands and murdered many more. Dumped their bodies in mass graves in the aftermath…

As far as war goes, the Ukraine have every right to destroy any single piece of Russian territory they wish to. Including any possession or ownership. As Russia do in the Ukraine.

Seems Putin can do what he likes, then so can the Ukrainians..

      Go Ukraine!

    7. As an american citizen, please accept my apology. Our federal government is corrupt, out of control and dangerous. It is my opinion the Biden Administration committed this crime of environmental terrorism.

    8. Simply REV0LT1NG, the UN is not a partial institution, obviously only works to favour the us's interests. This UN is a complete joke, we all know that the us and nato that one's that blew the pipe lines. Therefore, they NEED TO PAY for it … No-one has a bloody crown here…. Cheers from Australia

    9. How about setting up an independent inquiry into the destruction of Ukraine and their people by Russia?
How about deducting whatever compensation to Russia for Nord Stream from the compensation Russia has to pay for the atrocities of their war in Ukraine?
Would Russia agree to this pretty fair solution? Oh wait…

Good job, UN – finally showing some backbone.
Shame on WION for cherry picking Glenn Diesen (who was based in, worked for, and is affiliated to Russian forums like the Valdai Discussion Club) to share his "independent" view on this.

    10. It sounds like the UN, Nato and America is prejudice towards Russia. Imagine that. It makes no sense, Joe Biden boldly wants to defund our military, so what's is grip again? America is at an all time low for recruitment of enlisted……..I know…..misinformation.

    11. The Nordstream 2 is not Russian, it was owned by both Germans and Russia and other western investors, it is made with parts made by German Siemens. When the government in German finally realized that it's strategical suicide to have their neck in the hands of Putin they can not only stop buying and shut down the pipeline, they can even decide to destroy it in order to give Putin a signal for the future. Putin was threating europe with the NS every day, that's what you get: no more gas AT ALL for the next 30 years.

    12. Why does India not vote in support for an Independent probe into the nord stream pipeline bombing when China and Brazil did??? India has always made the wrong choices and I am afraid it's doing so again now.
