Placing the cutting explosives – pictures show the pipe was cut not blown apart – required the use of a robot to remove the thick concrete coating to get at the metal pipe, and only the US, UK, and Norway have such machines due to their deepwater oil and gas operations though there are Swiss and Italian companies that operate pipeline robots capable of cutting pipes to replace sections. To claim such equipment or even deep dives could be made from the yacht in question is laughable since it would not even have the global position equipment needed to keep it steady over the pipe whereas the US Kearsarge does.

I do not know who "disrupted" the pipeline(s) in question. But to the best of my knowledge, there is only one politician who has uttered an overt, public threat against the pipeline.
